Now here comes the challenging part. What to order?
The menu offers a wide range of items from soup, meat, chicken, seafood, bean curd, vegetables, noodles, rice, snacks and desserts. You may see it as a kind of a 'chu-char' dining, but at such an affordable pricing.

Ready to drool? Let's have a look at some of the highlights that we tried.

Salted Egg Yolk Chicken Cutlet - RM 14.90
Sink you teeth into the crispy and tender chicken covered with the fragrance of the salted egg yolk. That nice creamy, rich, with a tinge of sweetness and saltiness, such an appetizing item.

Deep-Fried Pork Fillet with Red Fermented Bean Curd - RM 15.90
This Hakka dish, known as "Char Yuk" is dangerously addictive.  For a moment, I thought it was going to packed with a pungent odour or taste, but the delicious crisp of flavour on the outer and tender on the inside had me wanting more of it. This is a must!

Petai Home Made Tofu - RM 12.90
The silky home made tofu are deep fried to golden brown and is then topped with a special petai gravy. The mixture of the petai gravy delivers a taste that is packed bursting with flavours. I kind of like the idea of them chopping up the petai into small chunks. It gives a nice overall balance of the tofu and the petai.

Legendary Tao Yew Bak - RM 14.90
This Hokkien dish is such a comfort food. A dish that is well loved and is something many of us grew up enjoying. Once scoop into it and that instant familiar taste just kicks in. The tender chunks of meat that is just flavourful. That and plain hot white rice - a perfect match :)

Steamed Lady's Fingers with Sambal - RM 11.90
When you have a perfect blend of fragrant sambal on it, there's nothing more you could ask for. The sambal was the bomb. I like mix of ingredients used that gives that nice aromatic taste on the palate. The good thing was it had just the right spicy kick.

Granny's Spring Roll - RM 9.90
An all-time favourite.

As much as you would love to stuff your tummy with all the delicious dishes, do spare some space for desserts. Among some of the sweet treats are such as soya milk with peanut or with ginko, ginko longan, ginger tea with rice balls, soya milk with rice balls and others.

Ai Yu Jelly Ice (O Kio) - RM 6.90

As for drinks, the one thing that surely and certainly caught my attention was the "free refills". That's something that we don't usually come across in such restaurants but I was thrilled to find out that they have it back here. Nice!

They have 2 options, you may order just as a normal one-time drink per glass or you may opt for the free refills at a certain price. The free refills only applies to certain drinks in the menu.

Ricco Chocolate - RM 3.60 / Free refills at RM 5.90

Apart from the ala carte menu, they also offer all day long set meals which is quite a balance meal as it consists of a main, rice, egg, soup, fruits and cracker. Starting from RM 15.90 onwards.
