Anchor Food Professionals - PizzArt Food Trail at US Pizza


After its major success last year, Fonterra's leading dairy foodservices segment, Anchor Food Professionals is once again collaborating together with US Pizza to bring you another wave of pizza excitement via their PizzArt campaign. This year, its another round of pampering and pleasing of palates with the special creations that would simply leave you wanting more.

Our food trail started off at the US Pizza, Greenlane outlet. The event kick off with warm welcome opening speeches and followed by the delightful creations of pizza that were just beautiful.


Speaking at the unveiling of the second PizzArt campaing in Penang recently, Director of Anchor Food Professionals Malaysia, Ms Linda Tan spoke about how the brand taps into their New Zealand-based research an going beyond their role as consultants to their partner restaurant and clients. She added that the team is always ready to take up the challenge of drawing inspiration from worldwide trends and adapting them locally to help our partners stay ahead of the culinary curve, using only the best dairy by Anchor. 

She added, "With AFP's New Zealand based research and expertise, the team is able to help them achieve a competitive edge. We want to excite the market and take the enjoyment of pizza a notch up by infusing global food trends into local favourites. This round we are working with 18 outlets in Peninsula Malaysia and East Malaysia."



Ok! It's time to unveil the new creations.

First up we have the PizzBurger. One glance and you will think it's just a bun. Wait until you cut it open. 



Succulent grilled minced meat patty stuffed with Anchor Mozzarella Shredded Cheese, Anchor Colby and Cheddar Cheese. Baked in a light crust with Anchor Butter.

Sink your teeth into the oozing cheese and tender chicken patty. Heavenly delicious. So good that you just can't stop. haha..



While we were there we also had the chance to try US Pizza's Salted Egg Pizza. One of the pizza on the menu that you should try.









After completing our first leg, we were then on our way to the another US Pizza outlet in Summerton. Where the fun and food continues.



Now the 2nd special creation was the Cheese Pretzza. 

You get an awesome mixture of Anchor Cream Cheese, Anchor Shredded Mozzarella, Anchor Colby and Cheddar Cheese and Anchor Extra Yield Cooking Cream into the dough, baked til perfection and served with pizza dipping sauce. Ohhhh so good!





There was a lil mini eating challenge where some bloggers as well as customers who were there dining competed against each other. The fastest person to finish eating a whole piece of Cheese Pretzza was the winner. Unfotunately, my pretzza came out fresh from the oven, so the inside was hot. I could only bite at a slower pace as it was hot haha but the cheese was just slurrrrrppppppp.


We were also served some of the other US Pizza's highlight pizzas.
