Tales of The Arabian Nights Ramadhan Buffet at Four Points by Sheraton Penang

Time sure flies fast and it's already the Holy Month of Ramadhan. It felt like it was just yesterday when I was at Four Points last year. A year forward and I am truly glad to be back here once again for their Ramadhan review.

Held at The Eatery, Tales of The Arabian Nights welcomes diners to break fast with a variety of delectable cuisine that simply pampers the palate. Beautiful presentation that offers such delicious flavours too.

So let's have a look at what the chefs in the kitchen has whipped up.

Start off with a nice selection of starters like kerabu, pre-mix salads and many more. Dig into the different kinds of kerabu made available; kerabu daging, kerabu manga muda, pucuk paku udang kapas, kerabu sotong limau Bali, kerabu taugeh and many more.

To the side of it, I was delighted to find Hummus on the buffet line. I had probably 1/4 of the portion there ..shhhhh hahaha Together you will also find items such as Fatouos Salad, Tabbouleh Salad and Beetroot Salad.

By just looking at it, how could you say no :)

You get not one not two but 4 types of keropok to enjoy.

The presentation done for the Ulam-ulaman section was simple yet attractive. Enjoy your fresh picks together with the sauce and sambal.

I must admit the creativity back here is pretty awesome. Some skills they have. Just look at the rojak and jeruk section. Soup laddles were used as a bowl to hold the fruits.

Bites away into the crunch of chicken roll, spring rolls and pandan chicken.

Nasi Mandy, first thing the name was unique made me wonder how did the name came about but Nasi Mandy was fragrant and yet packed with nice flavours in it. The chunks of chicken was surely tender as well.

With such flavourful rice, and the fantastic main dishes made available. It just compliments everything so well.

Puyuh Goreng Berempah

Ayam Kalio
I personally love the Ayam Kalio as well. Unlike the norms of the other curry dishes, this was barely spicy, and the mixture of spices and the creaminess of the gravy was simply gorgeous.

Gulai Kambing

Ikan Tenggiri Goreng Masak Acar

Chermoula Baked Seabass
This is like the ultimate fish dish. Does taste as good as it looks

Lamb Kofta Pizza

While on the outside, you will find a few stall offering items such as grilled sausages, chicken, seafood, chicken and beef satay and Penang char koay teow. The grilled items and the satay was so good that you would come back for more. When one talk about satay, apart from the satay sticks, the peanut sauce plays an important role as well.

The list of food goes on at the Pasta Station. From bolognaise to my all-time favourite carbonara, so good!

And now for my favourite part, desserts! The dessert section was the first thing that will capture your attention when you enter The Eatery. The mouth-watering desserts looks so irresistible. Enjoy sweet treats such as dates, Sago Gula Melaka, Apple Crumble Tart, Puding Jagung,Opera Cake Gateaux with Chocolate Flakes, Malay Kuih and even 3 types of warm sweet soup desserts.

I simply love seeing the sweet soup warm desserts. You get to enjoy 3 types and for that day there was Bubur Chacha, Bubur Pulut Hitam and Penyet Labu. Oh lovely!

Lastly some nice cool drinks. Pretty interesting to see the way the drinks are served instead of having it in those normal drinks dispenser, they have it stored in bottles. They even place grass jelly and basil seed by the side of it. My bandung with the basil seed and grass jelly was so good. Oh there's even ice cream with condiments, coffee and tea too.

So make your bookings now to avoid disappointment.
