The Royal Bintang Penang turns 3 this month and this was my very first time stepping into the hotel. Though the hotel is rather new in Penang, but it host a nostalgic ambiance that certainly gives anyone who enters the hotel a nice warm heritage feel.
In celebration with the hotel's 3rd anniversary, the hotel has an exciting line-up of promotions for all their loyal guest.
I was given the privilege to explore their Friday Night Poolside BBQ promo.

Sup Tulang Rawan Kambing
A soup that comes bursting in delicious flavours.
Off to some tempting starters like BBQ Chicken Salad, Sotong Kangkung, Asian Coleslaw, Potato Salad, Cold Cut Platters, and many more. Frankly I was really happy to see coleslaw as that one item which is hard to come by but if I do at times, sometimes it just doesn't please the palate.
It was nice to see a mixture of local as well as international flavours as well.
While on the other side, a row of chaffing trays is filled with all the delicious main dishes.

The battered Fish was nice. Imagine a cut of that, and some coleslaw on it. Oh heavenly. Could I get more of it please hehe :)

On the upper deck, where the live action stations are, you will find favourites such as Royale marinated roast lamb, chicken and beef satay, mix grilled seafood, Nyonya curry noodles and many more,
Burger
Simple as it look, but it was burgerliciously good.
Nothing like ending the meal with such mouth-watering desserts. From chocolate mousse, assorted French pastries, Nyonya kuihs and a whole load more of sweet treats.
Pengat Pisang Sago
Raisin Bread & Bread Pudding with Vanilla Sauce.
Apple Strudel
Icy cool treats definitely just cools things down. Make you very own ice kacang and don't forget to top it with scoops of ice cream :)

Penang is known as the food haven of Malaysia and the Royale Bintang Penang also prides itself on the food served that leaves its guests coming back for more. To encourage the guests to come back regularly for the food, The Royale Bintang Penang also launched the “Ï Love To Makan” monthly photo contest Facebook contest last year. Guests who dine at any of the food outlets will need to just take a photo of them dining and post it on the hotel’s official Facebook page. The picture with the most number of likes will win attractive prizes from the hotel!
