It is really good to be back at Starz Diner, Hard Rock Hotel Penang once again during the Holy Month of Fasting. Guaranteed to satisfy your cravings, I know for sure I that was :)
Every corner there is food to choose from, from starters, soups, main dishes, fried items, grill station, to irresistible desserts.
So let's have a look at what awaits diners.
At the Buka Selera Stall, you will drinks such as sirap limau, sirap bandung as well as soya bean too.
While for the appertizers you will have the one of Penang's all time favourite, pasembur with condiments.
On to the next spot, there will be the area where you can even make your very own kerabu, pick the ingredients that you like, give it a toss and you are all set to enjoy it. ikan goreng terubuk masin, and a few sauces like the sambal belacan, sambal olek among others.
Love your greens? There is an assortment of fresh salad with condiments as well as pre-mix salads such as Thai style beef with glass noodles, Greek salad of feta & black olives, roast lamb with cous cous salad and young papaya salad too.
Of course, not to miss the Penang fruits rojak. Oh yummy!

Now off to some awesome main dishes. Everything looked so good. There was the beef and chicken satay with such nice peanut sauce to go with it.

I've been craving for lasagna and I was soooooooo delighted to see this. One bite into it, and it was heavenly good. I wished I had taken more of this now.. oh how much I regret now for not stuffing myself with more of this haha..

On the other area of the buffet line, you will find even more choices of food. There is the nasi kandar corner with favourites such as mutton varuval with tomato, fish fillet & green peas masala, fried cabbage with tumeric, vegetable briyani, papadam and others.
Local favourites like the karipap, spring roll, cucur udang and quesadillas with murtabak filling awaits you at the Hot Plate & Fritters section.
I also liked this item very much. A murtabak filled styled, but the outer was wrapped with egg. It was really really nice.
This is always an eye-catcher, the highlight which is the Arabic lamb shank with Arabic rice, cous cous & pita bread with chutney and yogurt. This was the bomb. The lamb shank is cooked with such nice flavour and it goes well with the rice. Keep it coming :)
You will find an assortment of seafood at the Hot Plate and Charcoal Grill Station. Different kinds of fishes, prawn, squid,clams chicken as well as beef.
You will be happy to even find that there is even a serving of char koay teow found on the buffet line.
Now the moment we have been waiting for. The first thing I check when I am at the buffet counter, desserts. Nothing beats ending our meal with nice appetizing and irresistible desserts.
You will find an interesting mix of local kuihs as well as some western fare.
This round big bowl of heavenly Chocolate Pudding was something super awesome. Warm, moist and super duper chocolatey. Oh perhaps I should bring back that whole bowl of it haha..

The ais kacang and crepe/pancake is set side-by-side, so if you were to order an ais kacang or pancake/crepe, you have a whole load of condiments and ingredients for you to put. Create your own masterpiece haha..
