Foodcaller at Queensbay Mall Penang

Foodcaller at Level 3 in Queenbay Mall Penang offers diners an array of delicious items such as ramens and even teppanyaki among others. The outlet in Queenbay Mall has only been around for a couple of months, but you will certainly know how good if the food is by the crowd that appears dining there.

Lets have a look at what Foodcaller has in store.

Foodcaller offers a few options of dumplings for you to indulge. Be it pan-fried, steamed or baked there is something that suits each person. To me the main attention was the Salted Eggs Baked Dumpling. It was certainly one of its kind. Juicy and tender dumpling are covered with salted egg and baked. Giving each bite into it a very fragrant and aromatic pleasure. I could certainly have many servings of it on its own.

Steamed Dumpling

Pan-fried Dumpling

As we explore into the ramen varieties that Foodcaller has in their menu, there is also the dry and the soup version too. The ramen noodles were done perfectly right. After all the ramen noodle play an important role in the dish.

Braised Pork Pickled Dry Ramen
With nice flavoured tender pieces of braised pork. Every mouth of that and the ramen noodle, simply irresistible.

Signature Ramen with Homemade Dumpling.
We tried the remarkable dumplings and now having it with the ramen in nicely flavoured thick rich broth, that was simply amazing.

Japanese Chashu Signature Ramen
The difference between this and the earlier one was the dumpling was substituted with slices of chashu.

Tomyam Grilled Chicken Ramen
As fiery as it may look, the spiciness was average but unlike your ordinary tomyam of spicy and sour, this has a tinge of sweetness in the soup.

If you prefer something more with rice especially Teppanyaki, then you could try their Teppanyaki dishes. It comes with a bowl of rice topped with minced pork, an egg, vege and a bowl of soup. each having it own unique flavour to its dish. The portion wise, I must say it is really value for money.

Garlic Roast Pork Teppanyaki.
The usage of garlic with the roast pork does definitely gives a nice fragrant aroma.

Sour Sambal Curry Prawns Teppanyaki
The nice aroma and flavour from the curry does make you wanting more of it with your rice.

Chef Bean Sauce Fish Teppanyaki

Now the next item certainly caught my attention, I am sure it caught yours too.

Tomyam Seafood Fried Ramen
First look at everyone goes wow. By the look of it, it is so tempting with generous amount of seafood, If you are a fan of seafood and tomyam, then this is your aim.
