It was a couple of months ago when I happened to be around Seberang Jaya and I noticed this huge building. Never knew they had a new hotel there and it was such a privilege that I had the opportunity to visit The Light Hotel to review their latest on-going Halal Dim Sum Buffet Breakfast. This is definitely a major news especially to our Muslim friends as you seldom find places offering Halal Dim Sum.
The Light Hotel is about 1 year old and is a 5 Star hotel that offers a luxurious experience with their chic interiors and modern design, certainly has that wow factor as you enter.
Up on the 3rd floor is where Flavour@3 is located. The outlet offers an al-fresco dining and indoor should you prefer to be in the air-condition.
So let's have a look at what the chefs at The Light Hotel has stormed the kitchen for the Halal Dim Sum Buffet Breakfast. Set in a relaxing comfy ambiance, it does make a perfect spot for dining.
Before we began, we were first introduced to the chefs and we had a glimpse via a live demonstration on dim sum making. Oh they were so quick. I'd probably destroy the dim sum if I was asked to give it a try haha..
So here are the 2 items that were made before being sent off to the steamer.
In order to maintain its quality, so the dim sum is done upon order. There will be an order chit on your table and tick which items that you would like to have. Tick the items and pass to the waiter, Simple as that. Once your items are ready, it's time to feast while it's still hot.
Pamper your stomach as they offer a selection of more than 15 mid-high range dim sum items. You have the steam items as well as the fried items. Here are some of the items that we tried. I personally love the deep fried items not because I love deep fried things, though yes I do love deep fried items haha but the ones that they served was really really good. Like really awesomely good.
One thing you will love specially in the steamed dim sum is the freshness of the items especially the prawns. Certainly makes you wanting more of that juicy succulent prawns.

Apart from that there is also the Steamed Buns with items such as BBQ Chicken Bun, Black Sesame Bun, Pandan Kaya Bun and Salted Egg Yolk Bun.
The crunchiness and the texture of the bean curd roll goes perfectly well with the mayonnaise and chili sauce. One piece is never enough maybe one plate will still make you craving for more.

Well there's more than just dim sum for you to indulge, there is also main course items such as fried rice, fried koay teow, noodles, congee with condiments.
I must say the Hokkien mee that I tasted here was pretty decent. Tasted much better than many places offer.
Finally to end the meal with some sweet treats such as mix fruits, bubur kacang, jelly and puddings.
