When you start seeing mooncakes, you know it isn't long before Mid Autumn Festival arrives. For this year, Hotel Jen Penang is offering their Mooncake Delights with 4 new interesting varieties added to their famous flavours. The 4 new varieties that will interest you are the Double Yolk White Lotus, Black Sesame Paste with Custard Paste, Chocolate Paste with Macadamia and Walnut, and Latte Paste with Orange Paste.
The Farmer's Grown is the all-time favourite as it has such nice flavour from the ingredients and yet not too sweet at the same time. I, myself was surprise to see so much ingredients was used to make it. Contains Lotus Seeds, Sesame, Walnut, Melon Kernel Seeds, Pumpkin Seeds, Rolled Oat and others. Heaps of healthy goodies in one mooncake.
When there is so many choices, each of it has its very own flavour and taste and there's is something for everyone.

While we were there during the sampling, Hotel Jen Penang also conducted a Lantern Workshop. I have never done lantern painting before, so this is my first and it was fun. Well my art skills are horrid, so it's best for me not to upload my end product of my very own lantern design hahahaha..
The exclusive designed boxes are always something everyone wants to have too. With any purchase of 4 mooncakes, you may choose a packaging of your choice. Choose either the Floral Design where it has intricate silk embroidery with metallic stamping foil or the "S" design where it has velvet material with metallic hot stamping foil.
