Coya Healthy Cuisine, Penang

If you are a vegetarian and wish to try out healthy vegetarian food, then you may try Coya Healthy Cuisine. Why Coya?  3 great reasons to dine at Coya, Freshly Prepared Food, No Gluten Vegetarian Products and free of MSG and preservatives.

I am never a big fan of pumpkin, but I must admit that the Golden Pumpkin Sour Plum that Coya serves is pretty good. One bite and you will think that it was slices of mango.

Golden Pumpkin Sour Plum RM 6.50

Fancy having tomyam? Instead of the red traditional red tomyam, try their White Tomyam. Just make you that you don't mistake it for some clear soup. Vege dumplings, fresh mushrooms and other ingredients and the tangy sour taste and the spiciness will make you go sawadeekraup instantly. :)

White Tomyam RM 8.50

You don't need meat to enjoy bak kut teh, because Coya serves excellent Bak Kut Teh as well. Made from soy meat pork ribs simmered in a complex broth of herbs and spices. Definitely brings out the best flavours.

Bak Kut Teh  RM 12.00

Ok so I was told of the dish Deep Fried Eel. I was stunned wondering eel? Then I was told this dish was made from mushroom. An interesting dish I must say. Something very unusual as goes for the name.

Deep Fried Eel RM 10.50

Curry Chicken Rice, for those who love some curry during their meals. A nice curry flavor and with the potatoes in it, splendid.

Chicken Curry Rice RM 12.00

This is something you must try there, the Green Pepper Bolognese Spaghetti. The peppery spiciness in the dish gives it a kick. Everything in the dish compliments the taste.

Green Pepper Bolognese Spaghetti RM 12.50

Hot and Spicy Noodle, do not be afriad of the name, it won't burn you haha..The noodle was mild. Somehow in comparison between the both spaghetti and this, I prefered the spaghetti dish.

Hot and Spicy Noodle  RM 10.50

Well not only you will find healthy food at Coya, there is also just deliciously fresh made healthy drinks for you to enjoy too..

Red Queen, Fair Lady, Banana Lassi and Jackfruit Lassi

Now this is the highlight, Portobello Giant Mushroom Burger. Well this is one burger that doesn't come with a meat patty burger bun. Somehow Coya uses the Portobello Mushrooms as the buns. Sanwiched with tons of greats ingredients and a vege patty served with a unique fresh fruit sauce. Usually people tend to think burgers are not so healthy but this burger is one burger with lots of nutritional values. Do take note as this burger requires a min 2 days in advance booking.

Portobello Giant Mushroom Burger RM 49.90
