A Surprise from CIMB Facebook

It was a pleasant surprise today from CIMB Malaysia. The list of winners were announced in their Facebook page. Weeks ago,I participated in a contest, Smart Convoy,  which was organized by them. It was pretty simple but all that took place was pure LUCK. We are fortunate to be among the lucky ones to be selected. So what was the LUCK that CIMB gave me??

Here it the surprise, Smart Tag & Touch n Go with pre-reload RM50.

HCOOL !!! Now  I have my own SMART TAG :) YAY!!! But guess it would not have the special entitlement when I pass Penang Bridge for a special rate. Awww what a pity ^^

Game Time :)
Ok Happy Birthday to us lol...EARTH HOUR 2011
As we gathered happily, we had those small little candles lit in occassion with EARTH HOUR 2011. There was just tons of delicious food to be eaten. Once when everyone felt that their tummy was about to explode, we had our MONOPOLY DEAL cards out. It was game time.

Joyce, brought over some pieces of cloth to spread on the floor. It was fun seeing them playing while I was around taking some shots of them playing.

As it got later into the night, bit by bit, some went home.  After cleaning up most of the things, the remaining of us sat for a last game. Which took about an hour to complete one game. Feeling extremely tired, we left almost 5am.

Feeling extremely happy to be able to be with all my friends which we hardly get the chance to gather in such a big group.

Rainy Days Are Here

The farewell event is finally here. The party for Winnie as in a week's time she will be saying goodbye to all of us here in Penang as she heads to Australia to a new chapter in her life.

It will definitely be a hard time bidding goodbye when next week comes. Gonna be tons of tears and tissues needed.

It's been raining for the past few days specially in the evenings. Hope tonight it does not rain so we can enjoy without worrying about the rain . Looking forward to it :)

Also tonight will be EARTH HOUR at 8.30pm-9.30pm. So let us turn off our lights at that period of time and if possible. SAVE OUR EARTH every possible way ..

Sadness in JAPAN

A week ago, here I was in a meeting back in Hong Kong with my fellow friends from other countries such as Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, Australia etc when the delegates from Japan were called out for an emergency. We were then told that Japan was hit by earth quake followed by a deadly tsunami.

As the days passes, people grieve for their loss. The pain that they are going through is indescribable. The loss of their loved one, their house and everything. It brings tears just by writing this, feeling the pain, sadness and emptiness that thousands of people are going through at this moment.

Watching the moments as the tsunami hits, was like re-living the moments when tsunami hit in 2004. It is scary to see what the force of mother-nature/natural disasters can do.

Let us put our hands together and pray for them in Japan for their safety, to be strong and to be able to get back to their daily lives soon.

To those who wish to donate in Malaysia, your donation big or small will not only mean alot to them but also will help them alot on their food supply, keeping them warm and to help them on every way possible.

I THANK YOU for your kind thought and generosity.

Brand New Shop of James Foo & Family Western Food

James Foo & Family Western Food is a name which is well known among Penangites when it comes to thoughts of having western meals. I fondly refer it as Fettes Park Western Food. I was very much delighted to be invited and lucky enough to be among those there to have a first look of how the brand new shop looks.

History dates back to 1985, (wow, it has been around even longer than I am) which was started by Mr. James Foo. The first location  where is all started was at the other end of Jalan Fettes from their current location. This will be their 5th location among the places previously were at back then the Sea Horse Foodcourt (Tanjong Tokong) and also the exact same location where now their brand new shop sits. The business and the cooking is all done by the family.

The interior and the cozy ambience of the brand new place would make your dining even more enjoyable than it already is. The dining area is mainly air-conditioned while there is an ample space for those who would like to dine under the fan. The food served is sure to make you craving for more. Well that has happened to me every since I had my first meal probably 10years ago or way longer.

There are a few additional new food items in the menu such garlic bread which you could now go enjoy it with your soup and Hainanese style spring roll

Where to Dine ?  : 21-A, Jalan Fettes, Fettes Park, 11200, Penang
Lost ? GPS   : Latitude N 5°27'9.4''  / Longtitude E 100°18'10.1''
Don't Come for Disappointment : Mondays

....Down Genting To KL...

Waking up to the cool chilling weather makes me shiver. Packed up, waited for the lift to the car park which took forever to be able to find a spot in the lifts. Headed down to the Chin Swee Temples, to meet up Edison and Darren. Chin Swee also provides accommodation, minus a lot of room amenities. There was no TV, no towels, no bathroom accessories such as soap etc You will have to buy it seperately. Sounds something of Tune Hotel concept doesn't it.

So first stop from Genting Higlands was Wangsa Maju. I always enjoy their version of Chicken Rice and the wedges yummy. It's always a stop that we go when we head to KL from Genting Highlands.

Here I was browsing in Pavillion. Surrounded by all the brands. Eyes opened big big but pockets shrinked LOL. So after browsing there for a quick one, walked across into Uniqlo and had a short trip around in Fahrenheit 88.

We then moved to Mid Valley, time to sit and relax. Gardens was the placed which was just something that we don't get back in Penang. The design is very outstanding, very unique.

Listen to my ringtone " Twinkle Twinkle Little Star"

Uncle Leong eat until so :)

We drove out and met up with other friends for dinner. Final stop was at Kepong's dessert shop " My Honeymoon" . First time there. Not really cheap but it's something that you don't find in Penang. LOL

Choco Shaved Ice
A last note of <3 THANK YOU <3 to my lovely friends, Edison , Darren, Adam, Kendrick and Ron for taking the time to not only drive us around but also to spend fun quality time with us. Also not forgetting, it's been great to have met your another half :)  Appreciate it alot.
