My Special Day ^^

The day that I had been waiting for was finally year (oh wait, I waited just to turn another year older! :s ) That sounded so weird LOL. I woke up to the annoying ring of the phone, only to find out that my lil sis aka my niece, had scored straight As in her PMR. That is the best birthday present for me this year. A happy "shocked" until my SMILE stuck on my face all the time.
Well here is our straight A scorer.. We do look alike dont we LOL

 Photo grabbed from Tenny

The hours passed and as it entered evening, I was excited as my birthday party gathering was soon to begin. Initially I thought it was only going to be around 30 people coming, but as I counted those confirmed, and those who came in the end was about 40 people. WOW ^^

I am blessed to have my family and friends to celebrate my special day. It was fun to see all the happy moments they have as I observe. Friends meeting new friends, chit chating and catching up with those whom only meet like once a year haha. Most of them were like " Barry, don't you wanna eat yet? Aren't you hungry?". As usual I will be walking here n there entertaining and only start eating when most of them are done haha..

Best part as well, having so many people singing Happy Birthday song for me..haha..kinda embarrassing though seeing all the eyes and attention from others looking n staring towards our side lol

Great food, great people, great time and moment together. Well the FUN does not stop there. We then went to catch a movie before calling it a night.

At the end of the day, it's these people whom I have to THANK for making another year of celebration a memorable one. A Million Thanks to all of you :) Love ya all :)

Little did I know that there was actually an eclipse going on when I was ordering my food. A sms came in from a friend of mine asking if I saw the eclipse, turn my head up all I saw was pitch dark sky and tree haha..turn left n right while facing up but failed to see anything.

So I came back home and I saw this..

It has been a long time since I last seen an eclipse, apart from seeing photos of it happening through the papers. Wonder when will the next eclipse be?

Niece Finalist in Mini Model Search @ Queensbay Mall & Her Dream to Meet Amber Chia

We were so excited upon knowing that my niece was shortlisted as one of the finalist in the Mini Model Search organized by Queensbay Mall, Penang. She told me once that her dream was to meet Amber Chia in person and to make the day even memorable was , Amber Chia would be the judge on the Final day.

I was nervous myself as I thought I would have arrived late but lucky that I arrived just in time. The younger kids were the first one to walk on the stage with the adult models. The children were so adorable, walking and putting all those cute poses as they pose to gain points to be crowned the Grand Prize winner .

Here is my niece doing her poses while a adult male model walks with her.

Probably it was like a dream come true for my niece as Amber Chia hugs her in this photo shot.

Not to forget, her sister whom was all excited, eager to have a chance to stand beside Amber Chia as well. She was like " Coco (brother), you have to put this in facebook ok? " haha how cute..

Well, I've never got this close to Amber Chia before. Usually from a distant away, but today it was my luck to have a chance to snap a photo with her. As you may noticed, her hand holding me shows a sign of how friendly she is, although she is a very famous model. I just realized how tall she was when standing next to me. Models are tall aren't they :p

Though my niece wasn't the Grand Prize winner but I'm still so proud of her. It a start and a big accomplishment for a start.

Happy to write again ^^

Wow let me think how many months has it last been since I had my last writing here? Many months it has been for sure. Well hope I can have the time to start writing again ^^

Thank you for the all support n love.. love ya tons <3 <3 <3

The Official Launch of “Tropical Spice Garden Cooking School”

This is my first time stepping into Tropical Spice Garden. Never did I know that what awaits me inside is just magnificent. A pure beauty of nature. I was honoured to be there to be part of the launch of TSG's Cooking School on the 6th May 2011. Imagine cooking surrounded by the lush of greens and not concretes everywhere and cooking with fresh herbs and spices that is found within the area.

We were given a guided walk in the jungle rich with herbs and spices. This is a good opportunity as it would be my first time seeing everything all fresh which has not yet to be processed.
The beauty of nature is mesmerizing
